Terms and Conditions

Welcome to No.1 Flooring! We’re thrilled to be your flooring partner. Before we embark on this exciting journey together, please take a moment to explore the terms and conditions that will guide our collaboration:

Payment Terms:

  • A 20% deposit is required to secure your job and initiate the process.
  • 60-70% of the payment is due before product delivery.
  • The remaining balance must be settled in full upon the completion of the installation.
  • If an invoice remains unpaid post-installation, a daily fee ranging from $60 to $100 will be applied based on the outstanding balance.

Installation & Warranty:

To qualify for our comprehensive installation warranty, the following conditions must be met:

  • Receipt of full payment.
  • The floorboards are not damaged or broken by the customer.
  • The customer has not caused damage to the floorboards outside of our specified installation scope.
  • Proof that any damage to the floorboards is a result of the installation process.
  • The terms and conditions specify that the installation warranty on floorboards does not cover damages caused by water or similar issues.

Scope of Work:

The detailed scope of work will be outlined in the invoice. Any additional work requested beyond the specified scope will be billed separately.

Cancellations and Rescheduling:

To ensure smooth operations, any changes to installation appointments must be communicated with a minimum of 48 to 72 hours’ notice. Failure to provide adequate notice may incur a rescheduling fee. Should the customer decide to cancel a booked job for any reason, a cancellation fee may be applied. We prioritize efficient scheduling and appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these policies.


Upon payment of the deposit, the customer’s job is deemed valid for a period of six (6) months from the date of booking with us. Should there be no communication from the customer during this six-month period, the job will be automatically cancelled, requiring rebooking.

In the event of rebooking, the customer will be subject to the updated quote, which may include revised terms and pricing. Any difference between the initial quote and the updated quote must be paid by the customer to proceed with the rebooking.

Access to the Property:

The client is responsible for providing access to the property on the agreed-upon installation date.

Preparation of the Space:

Ensure that the installation area is clear of any obstructions and ready for the flooring process.

Completion and Approval:

Upon completion, the client will have the opportunity to inspect the work and provide approval. Any concerns or discrepancies should be communicated at this time.


No.1 Flooring is committed to leaving your space clean and tidy upon completion of the installation.


No.1 Flooring shall not be held liable for any damages or injuries that occur on the client’s property during the installation process.

Dispute Resolution:

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution through mediation or arbitration.


No amendments to these terms and conditions shall be valid unless agreed upon in writing by both parties.
